We just have started the
process of the Final Registration for the entry in EKC2011Gdynia.
The Final Registration is
being accomplished on our website. In order to register please click
on “registration”.
In order to log in, please
use the same codes (name and password) as you had used for the
pre-entry.
Please fill in very
carefully all the options in the registration form (name, surname,
date of birth, exam, roles, accommodation options, sayonara and
photo) – that will helps us to run the organisation processes of
the entire event smoothly.
The final payment amount
together with the Bank details will be shown at the bottom of the
website. We kindly ask all the teams to register and to make the payment until the 15th
of March 2011. After that date we will
not be able guarantee the entry to the competition of your team.
We also kindly ask you to
register all referees (costs of the accommodation, sayonara for the
referee are not included in the amount shown on the website) and all
other members of your team (Leaders, Managers, Coaches and any other
additional participants)
We truly hope that the

We proudly inform you that the European Kendo Federation has appointed Poland to organize the 24th European Kendo Championship in 2011. We are even more happy due to the fact that this unusual event will be held in Gdynia – accordingly to the EKF’s suggestion.
Thanks to the inestimable help of the President of the City of Gdynia - who has taken up the Patronage – the venue that will welcome the Kendokas’ strives is the impressive sports and events hall “Gdynia”. (the address: Kazimierza Gorskiego8, 81-302 Gdynia)
The date planned for the contest 6th – 8th of May 2011.
The European Kendo Championship are held alternately with the World Kendo Championship. There are approximately 700 contestants, 40 referees from European countries and Japan. About 70 volunteers serve the event and another two hundred both from Poland and Europe will take part during the additional seminars and examinations (1-7 Dan).
During those three days six categories will be staged: male team and individual strives, female team and individual strives and junior team and individual strives.
The Polish Kendo Team has been present at the European Championship since the year 1989, and in the recent years our kendokas regularly achieve success and win medals.
As the host of the 24th European Kendo Championship we not only will provide you with the emotions that will be awoken by the fair-competition but also we will ensure that our guests will receive proper entertainment – we plan for you Kendo shows and presentations, and additionally shows and presentations of related to Kendo martial arts of swords.
